IBEW Community Federal Credit Union was chartered in April 1971, by a group that felt it would be an excellent benefit to the membership of LU 479. With the help of Jake Helpinstill from Mobil CU, they collected the information needed, and petitioned NCUA for a charter. An initial bank deposit of $5,946 was made and we were up and running – a credit union for LU 479 members! Our staff is one of the best in serving our members. Officers for the credit union are volunteers that are elected annually. Currently there are nine Board of Directors, four Supervisory Committee members.
